Photographer JUNEY’s main genre is Artist photography. The huge love that she has for the musicians around her and the community, has lead to the passion to make use of her talent in photography for the people she cares for. JUNEY started shooting photos as a hobby when she was 17, the photos that she took were mainly landscape and street photography. She started to take portraits for close friends with an iPhone, it was around her in her early 20s and she discovered she had talent. Many people were impressed and told her she had “the eye” for art. JUNEY really enjoyed and loved the smiling exited faces of her friends and family when they received their photos and self-taught herself to learn the DSLR camera.

During her studies at The New School for Jazz, she had the opportunity to learn photography through Parsons, the prestigious Art School which is a part of The New School. She took 2 full courses of photography while studying at The New School and completed two exhibitions. Since graduating from The New School, she has been working as a professional Artist photographer for about 3 years. Her clients say that she is “the most caring photographer” they’ve ever met. They say that they can see the joy in her eyes and that is why they come to fully trust her and be comfortable during the photo sessions.

JUNEY’s photo studio is quite different from other studios, she collects information from her clients by asking multiple questions that she asks to understand the subject better, and deeply dives into what, where and how the final photos would make sense of who this (client) is as a person. She delivers a truthful beautiful photo in a natural and lively way. “She shoots pictures like her personality” says Seth K. “She wants to use herself to make others happy and she just loves doing that.”
